1. Location change
    Second Monday of the month, February through November. There are no meetings during December and January. There is a change in our meeting place because of CK Fire training calendar. We can only use Fire Station #56. The address is 6479 Seabeck Hyw NW 6:30 pm, horticultural Q&A time 7:00 pm, regular meetings Guests are always welcome!
  2. What's New?
    Bring your BEST ROSE OF THE DAY to our general meetings beginning in May. There will bo no general meeting August 2017. Best Rose of the Day contest and any business will be done at the club picnic at the home of Sally and Roger Eastman.

  1. Meeting format
    We start at 6:30 with seasonal rose care tips and other horticultural information. At 7:00 we have the main program which is a guest speaker on a topic for rose education. Refreshments are free and served after the speaker. Around 8:00 we have the business meeting for the club.

  3. Time to prune roses!
    The forsythia is blooming in Kitsap County so that means the light and weather conditions are right growth of roses. You can begin pruning modern roses now to get the earliest blooms. Pruning later just means later blooms. Once blooming Old Garden Roses should only only be pruned after flowering.
Kitsap Regional Library, Silverdale rose pruning was held on a very sunny Sunday March 19, 2017.
Club picnic will be at Eastman' s home in Poulsbo in August.
